Curaçao wants to prevent an opening leading to even more Venezuelans coming to find their way to the island.
Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath is discussing this with Venezuela. That country has indicated its willingness to reopen the borders with Curaçao for the movement of people and goods.
