WILLEMSTAD – Corendon has announced that it will organize special fan trips for the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches in which Curaçao will take part, fulfilling an earlier promise to supporters. The announcement was made on Tuesday afternoon during a press conference by Corendon founder Atilay Uslu.

According to Corendon, flights will be arranged to all three host cities where Curaçao is scheduled to play its matches: Houston, Kansas City, and Philadelphia. Supporters will be able to choose from several travel options tailored to their preferences, ranging from flights only to full packages including accommodation and, optionally, match tickets.

For travelers who wish to attend matches, Corendon will facilitate the process by sharing the required information with FIFA. FIFA will then contact interested fans directly via email and through its official app, which must be downloaded. Corendon emphasized that supporters are not required to purchase match tickets through the airline, as tickets can also be reserved and bought directly through FIFA.

Corendon will operate the flights using its own aircraft, a Boeing 737 Max that will be flown in from the Netherlands and fully branded in Curaçao’s national “Blue Wave” colors. The aircraft will be stationed at Hato International Airport for the duration of the operation. In total, Corendon plans to operate five flights from Curaçao to Houston, four to Kansas City, and four to Philadelphia.

In terms of accommodation, Corendon has secured contracts with around 30 hotels across the three host cities, most of which are part of the Hilton hotel chain. Travelers will be informed in May which hotel they will be staying at.

In each of the three cities, Corendon also plans to organize a fan zone where supporters will be able to watch matches, including games played by the Netherlands, creating a shared experience for traveling fans.

Fans traveling to Houston will be able to make their initial ticket payment on December 17 between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Capital Ç near the airport. Payments will be card-only, with no cash accepted, and a minimum of 35 percent of the total travel cost must be paid at that time.

With these arrangements, Corendon aims to make it as easy as possible for Curaçao supporters to follow the national team during the 2026 World Cup in the United States.
