WILLEMSTAD – The Rector Magnificus of the University of Curaçao (UoC), Stella van Rijn, paid a working visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Mauritsz de Kort, on Monday, January 26, 2026.
During the visit, Van Rijn briefed the Governor on the University’s new education plans and their implementation. The plans are aimed at further future-proofing the University of Curaçao and strengthening its role as a key contributor to Curaçao’s social and academic development, as well as to the wider region.
The meeting formed part of ongoing efforts to align higher education with the evolving needs of society and to reinforce UoC’s position as a central institution for knowledge, research and innovation on the island.
