WILLEMSTAD – The Netherlands says the situation in Venezuela remains highly uncertain, with multiple possible post-Maduro scenarios that could affect the wider region, including the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, outcomes range from a stable democratic transition to prolonged instability, each with different implications for migration, security, and economic relations.
The Dutch government says it will continue working closely with partners to encourage a peaceful and democratic transition while safeguarding the interests of the Kingdom and its citizens.
